The cardamom makes itself known by offering up an evocative suggestion of old-fashioned cola, and to this the cloves bring out a deep, dark complexity. I can sense a little bit of spice in the background there, but it's vanilla and orange, they are the big two things that come forward. Indeed, it does seem to offer something distinct from Kraken, Captain Morgan, and Sailor Jerry, and is probably better.

Hints of Manuka honey and mouth-watering cinnamon form its heart, with molasses, candy floss, toffee apples, crème brûlée and clove-studded oranges. is a cockle-warming spiced concoction, based on the kind of rich, full-bodied rums the seafaring fraternity would have enjoyed centuries ago. Gone through several bottles of this over the last few years since I was introduced to it in the Old Ale House in Truro. But it is very, very sweet, and this should be taken into account when deploying it as a mixer, baking ingredient, or whatever you use spiced rum for. My number two pick is, purely for the fact, I think I'm about to get upset with Coca Cola Schweppes, because I think I've heard on the grapevine, that they have delisted it and I will be a very, very angry man if they have.One word of warning though, one glass will lead to several and before you know it and doctor ableforth has you hooked for life.

Right, then it's cocktail time, and so I hope you guys now are kind of getting into a little routine, the little rhythm of what I'm doing. Its quite strong but gives you a smooth, delicious taste of vanilla, orange zest and caramel among others. A secret recipe was followed, finished with a handful of cassia and cloves and just a hint of cardamom. I doubt it will last until Christmas but it reminds me of a cold winter’s evening all cozy staring into a roaring fire with a good book.I know, I've chopped and changed in the last couple of months, I've just been trying to find what works really well for you guys.
