Chojuro Zenin • Jinichi Zenin • Naobito Zenin • Naoya Zenin • Nobuaki Zenin • Ogi Zenin • Ranta Zenin The Cursed Womb: Death Paintings make their first appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen shortly after the Goodwill Exchange Event. As Megumi Fushiguro battles a cursed spirit bearing one of Sukuna's fingers, Nobara Kugisaki and Yuji Itadori battle against two of the Death Paintings brought to life by Mahito. Despite the grotesque appearance of these two characters (named Eso and Kechizu), they demonstrate a unique trait for cursed spirits: a willingness to sacrifice their own safety or the sake of another's well-being. The pair truly seem to think of each other as brothers, so it's only natural that their surviving sibling, Choso, is emotionally distraught when he finds out about their loss. However, he eventually finds companionship in the most unlikely of places — Yuji Itadori. However, I don’t know if it’s technically a curse, since curses seem to be negative even if the intentions behind them are positive (ex: Yuta and Rika). This “curse” of Yuji’s obviously benefits him. Maybe Yuji’s grandpa somehow “cursed” him with positive/reverse cursed energy? I don’t know. GeekyZone is a UK retailer based in Leicestershire. However, he had no reason to take lives after Gojo was sealed. While Choso was still outclassed by Naoya's speed and suffered a one-sided beating at the beginning of their fight, he managed to tough it out thanks to his physical endurance and unwavering willingness to defend his little brother. Although Naoya managed to injure the Death Painting Womb and slice him open, Choso turned his wound into an advantage and once again overcame Naoya by using different Blood Manipulation moves in a variety of clever ways. [28] With a bored expression on his face, Choso was going through the motions of a simple board game with Mahito and Pseudo-Geto when he learned Eso and Kechizu had perished, deeply upsetting him. [5] He agreed to fight alongside Mahito and Geto but ultimately only pursued the goal of avenging his brothers during the Shibuya Incident.Choso wants to kill his father Kenjaku for the sake of his family and has no issue sacrificing his life to do so. [10] [11] On the edge of defeat against Kenjaku, Choso refused to accept defeat because he felt as if his younger brothers were pushing him through the pain and telling him to fight on. [12] [13] He refused to accept Kenjaku's disinterest in them and used moves inspired by each of them to do his best to commit patricide. [14] To understand the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, one must first appreciate the circumstances of their creation. At the beginning of Japan's Meiji Era (roughly the middle of the 19th-century), an unknown woman mysteriously became pregnant with a half-human, half-curse child, leading her to be ostracized from her family. After fleeing from her home, the woman arrived a temple where jujutsu sorcery was practiced — it was at this point that she first met Noritoshi Kamo, arguably the most evil jujutsu sorcerer of all-time. Under Kamo's guidance, the mother of the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings was impregnated nine times, and each time, the heinous jujutsu sorcerer aborted her unborn children, keeping their fetuses for future experimentation.

The relationship between Choso and Yuji Itadori is a complex one. Still, we can confirm that the two of them are siblings, half-brothers to be precise, but the story of how this came to be true is very morbid and shows just how twisted of a villain Kenjaku is. So, we now know why Choso thought that Yuji was his brother. But was he correct in thinking this? Or was it just a misconception on his side? Well… let us see that as well. It turns out that Choso and Itadori are indeed related, but the story is as morbid as these things getNamely, we know that Noritoshi Kamo’s warped experiments on their mother resulted in the birth of Choso and his siblings. Rather than anything else, this was more like torture, yet some 150 years ago, Choso and his siblings resulted from these heinous experiments. On the other side, Yuji Itadori’s parents, Jin and Kaori Itadori, gave birth to him 15 years ago. So, how does that make sense? Well, this is where things become complicated. Choso using a wave of blood and Slicing Exorcism to counter Naoya's speed by breaking his line of sight. DEBATE: Jujutsu Kaisen fans still can’t agree on their favorite character despite fan polls with over 300,000 votes

Choso was initially introduced as a villain in Jujutsu Kaisen, as the leader of the three Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. His two siblings were killed by Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, which is why he wanted to kill both of them, with Yuji being his primary target. Choso earned the opportunity to take revenge on Yuji but could feel his impending death right before dealing the killing blow. It's a side effect of his composition as a Death Painting Womb and of his cursed technique. Choso can feel the death of his brothers and felt the same intense sensation from Yuji's impending death as he did from Eso and Kechizu's. Choso suspected that Itadori might be his brother after they fought, and that is why he did not kill him

Choso was first shown as a villain in the series. He is the oldest, the leader, and the most humanoid of the three Cursed Womb: Death Paintings (1-3) we’ve seen in the series early on. He is distant and stern, although he greatly loves his younger brothers. He has the same skill as Noritoshi Kamo, which gives him complete control over his blood and other attributes. Charles Bernard • Chizuru Hari • Dhruv Lakdawalla • Fumihiko Takaba • Haba • Hagane Daido • Hajime Kashimo • Hana Kurusu • Hanyu • Hiromi Higuruma • Iori Hazenoki • Reggie Star • Remi • Rin Amai • Rokujushi Miyo • Ryu Ishigori • Takako Uro Does anyone think it’s significant that Yuji‘s memory-altering ability seems to only be effective on humans? It fully worked on Todo; he really believes that he and Yuji are “brothers.” Choso seems to be struggling to accept the false memory, which could be because he’s only half human. It never activated against Mahito, and Yuji’s fought him more than once. This leads me to believe that this is not an innate cursed technique of his, or else he’d be able to use it effectively against cursed spirits. I think it might be a curse itself, born out of his grandpa’s desire for Yuji to be surrounded by friends, and that’s why it seems to be targeted toward humans. Advanced Endurance: As noted by Naoya Zenin, Choso is exceptionally tough. [44] He was able to withstand multiple hits from Yuji, who possesses superhuman strength enhanced with cursed energy and masterful precision in his martial arts technique. The Death Painting Womb was also on the receiving end of consecutive blows hits from Noaya that carried the momentum from him moving at blistering speeds. [45] In both hard-fought battles, Choso was able to endure and come out on top. Choso continued to press on even after his lengthy duel with Yuji as a testament to his stamina as well. [46] High Tactical Intellect: Choso has existed for one-hundred and fifty years and one of his greatest weapons is his incredible level of wisdom. His mastery over Blood Manipulation has allowed Choso the freedom to experiment and utilize its abilities in ways that are all unique to him. He applies the technique in many different ways during battle to swing the tide in his favor.

To himself) " It’s an effect of my cursed technique. I can sense the transformation of my younger brothers through our blood connection no matter how far away they are. For living things… …death… …is the final and greatest… …transformation. I saw it with my own eyes. I had an intense sensation of Yuji Itadori’s “death.” That must mean… …Yuji is my younger brother! If Noritoshi Kamo has extended his life by moving from body to body… …then nothing is impossible. So… …using all my strength… …I will fulfill my duty as the older brother!!" [63]Theory Two – The two aren’t really brothers and it’s Yuji’s hidden technique ‘Memory Manipulation’ that causes Choso’s false vision. Furudate • Fumi • Jin Itadori • Keita Oe • Nagi Yoshino • Saori • Tadashi Okazaki • Takada-chan • Wasuke Itadori • Yuko Ozawa Despite appearing to be a very dissociative person, Choso is very attached and protective of his brothers. Upon being incarnated, Choso told his two brothers that three of them lived only for one another and that they were all one. [4] Imagine a figure emerging from a world where cursed spirits meet humans: that’s Choso. As a Death Painting Womb, Choso is an enigmatic blend of human and cursed spirit. His mere presence intrigues, but there’s much more to him than what meets the eye. Appearance Unveiled:
