My son also noticed that I was losing height through the shot and when I fixed that the method really worked. I have been recently getting lessons, and my instructor was mentioning using bounce when I briefly asked about chipping, I am pretty sure short game will bey next lesson, hopefully I can learn some of this "hands on.
