I was hesitant to get it on vinyl since the OG version lacked some of the best tracks and the new edition had a lot of negative reviews on the pressing. No surface noise (after cleaning); I have found a couple of pops on Side A, so took an extra couple of minutes to clean it and that was it! And this is well beyond the poor production with the paper sleeves and smudges on the discs (which are annoying regardless). But not Matt Johnson and Derrick McKenzie, two of the instrumental and production brains behind Jamiroquai.

I also have surface noise and to top it all off, the hole in the vinyl is too small to where it doesn't fit my turn table.

On the second play through surface noise was significantly reduced, but still mild-moderate and it was peculiarly worse in louder passages. My previous experience with Waterhouse release of Westworld se1 3LP version was equally disappointing.
